William R. Thomas is a seasoned litigator, practicing law for over 33 years. He is licensed in state and federal courts in Ohio, and has broad trial experience in the areas of automobile, motorcycle and trucking liability, insurance and uninsured/underinsured motorists’ claims, workers’ compensation, professional malpractice, medical malpractice, employment litigation, and premises liability. Since 2002, Mr. Thomas is the owner of a successful and respected litigation firm, Thomas & Company L.P.A., and is working of counsel with Reidenbach Law Group. Leveraging his extensive background and experience, he provides invaluable expertise and support to the broader Reidenbach Law Group team.
Mr. Thomas graduated with honors from State University College at Buffalo in 1988 and University of Dayton School of Law in 1991. Prior to forming his own firm, Mr. Thomas practiced with and acted as a managing partner at a large civil litigation firm. He has lectured at local and national seminars on practice related topics.
In addition, Mr. Thomas was the Director of the Competition Trial Advocacy Program at Capital University Law School. During 2001 and 2002, he led his teams to a first place regional victory and a tenth and eleventh place finish out of 224 teams at the National Competition. Prior to that, he served as an Instructor for the ATLA Mock Trial Team at The Ohio State University College of Law where the team placed first in the regional competition, and twelfth of 206 teams in the National Competition.
An avid fisherman, Mr. Thomas resides in Liberty Township, Ohio with his wife and four children.
